This course is for non-lifeguard personnel in aquatic settings who need to understand how to reduce risk, assist or respond during an emergency and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
This courser is ideal for Pool Monitors, Swim Instructors, and Customer Service Representatives.
Course Prerequisites: Candidates must be a minimum age of 16 to enter the course. Candidates must be comfortable in the water while wearing a Personal Flotation Device (PFD, also known as lifejacket) appropriate for the water activities.
Course Delivery: Entirely in person
Course Length: 8 hours
Required Course Equipment: CPR mask with one-way valve, whistle
Certification Length: 1 year
