CPR Instructor Course
Course Description:
The purpose of the CPR Instructor Course is to train instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid courses.
CPR Instructor Course Prerequisites:
- Participant must be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the CPR Instructor Course
- Participants must posses a current American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Successfully complete the online introduction
- Successfully complete the American Red Cross online session ($35 fee for the Red Cross online course)
To complete the CPR Instructor Course successfully, the participant must:
- Complete all prerequisites prior to the first day of the scheduled course
- Participate and demonstrate competency in all skill sessions and scenarios
- Complete all four practice-teaching assignments
- Pass the final written exams with a minimum grade of 80 percent
** No refunds will be issued to participants who do not complete any prerequisites or course requirements **
What to bring:
- Proof of age
- Proof of completed online coursework
- Proof of your current American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Paper and pen to take notes
- Lunch or lunch money
